Travel Writing: London-City of Villages

I lived in London for more than 2 years in my dream job as Europe Bureau Chief for Global News, which in turn produced a book, Falling for London, which fulfilled a long-held ambition. And I’ve been there multiple times on visits. But as the saying goes, to be tired of London is to be tired of life. Our most recent trip gave us the opportunity to explore it in a different way, as a city of villages. The conceit was to profile three lovely hotels in the Doyle Collection: the Kensington, Marylebone and Bloomsbury and how they reflect their distinct neighbourhoods. Now it’s in print in Postmedia Network Inc. papers, including the Edmonton Journal and Montreal Gazette.
